Simple as it is... iS it??..

Missing someone isnt about how long its been since you've seen them last or the amount of time since you've talked , its about the very moment when you're doing something and you wish that that person was right there with you. People dont care how much you know until they know how much you care , i guess to some it needs time or time is needed to some . You will find as you look upon your life that the moment when you have really lived are the moments when you have done things in split seconds. HOw far you go in life depends on you being capable of crossing over what is it thats hard? What am i be able to do it? It is this my challenge? Or is it worth it . Every passing minute is chance to turn it all around ,since every second you spent upset is like a minute of happiness you will never get back . In each ones life you have everything that you always wanted and you got it but years pass and there is always something missing , esp. family , but i guess to somethings in time you will know!.Within time you come to realize that there are things in life that could happen , would happen , must happen if you give yourself a chance to make it all happen .

Everyone has someone in their life that keeps them looking forward to another day . To some people they take advantage of it and ignore whats more important , exmple : Is your mom , dad , children , sisters or whatever less important to you , or is it making money more important to you? To some , they go for money , but in the hearts i know they want both , hello , there is something called Balance. you got to balance your personal life with work . It bug's me when i see family living in their own lil world , and not knowing about one another ,esp. living in the same house . Dad's off to work , mom : work/ housewife , children: work , school. And Maybe be in a blue moon maybe on a sunday , they will come together . Then again , that is in some households not all. In my opinion , family matters b/c you never know what happens b/w friendships , friends come and go , stab you in the back and etc. But no matter what , Family are always there ( well , in some cases) .

There are something you dont want to happen but you have to accept and there are things you dont want to know but you to learn and there are people you cant live without but have to let go , and miss them if they are far away . I believe that everything happens for reason , as they say . I have learned that GOodbyes , will always hurt, pictures will never replace , having been there , memories good or bad will bring tears and words can NEVER replace those feelings . Moreover , people , including family always inspire me , make me feel wanted , instead of looking for away to find one . I have learned that no matter what or how bad things get , you get to go on lving each day even if it kills you.

Reality , has its ways , it undergoes so many changes. The changes maybe in losing someone , missing someone or finding someone. THen again, the thing is, things dont change , well maybe , BUt most importantly We change.

.. Wish life was like aburger....If only i had my very own ending i wouldnt have begun....

There are some things that are too good to be true , Life would be nice if you understand it. Then again somethings are far away from expected , what you think you expect of having . The thing is , Some things are better off unplanned , and less thinking about than actually doing it , since in the end , that this is life you will end up getting hurt, or lose hope . You complain about things , yet you still do it anyways , you have things in mind but you stutter thinking : “ ay should i ? Is it right? Why am I doing this ? Should I care ? should I even bother? . Yet , still in question . Its funny how when you finally realize that the years that have passed are the Best moments of ur life but during then u didnt know , while wanting them to pass by quickly and Now all u want are those years to Just come back! subhan allah .keef il zaman bit3'iar.

Everyone‘s , vision is wide ,clear and filled with fear, better of doing what you can do best than just sitting around thinking of : what can happen? .So they say or should I say , I say : the way it is how often and quickly those series of images and moments pass by soo fast that once you have them in mind and take time thinking about it , Bam! Its too late and long gone. Its always the good times that you can never have twice or more than once , u might as well enjoy ,live now , than keeping it for later. Life is short. So now I think less and just do. I know for a fact that we all do have sooo many of our "Whys"but we sure don’t have our Answers.. yet,Its probably better off not knowing , or maybe it is . so they say its easy to forget your troubles when the weather's warm. But all it takes is one fall breeze to blow reality right back in ur face .Who knew that something as lil as smiling could prolong ur life? Its really true what they say :the best things r free! so keep the smile : always! Thats how i explain my long life! who cares what people think of you , for one thing they are jealous and the other half they just want attention.. All you have to do and think is that you can never expect anything from anyone , fear no one but GOd . Yet , in a way life has stood its grounds in the face . Yea , its true life is certainly unexpected. I dont fear reality , i face reality. I tend to to spice it up reality with a smile . HOw Many moments in life could you look back to and think :" Thats when it all changed." Silence clears my head . One thing that I know man have learned the hard way is : Its not what you do in life that matters , its who you are. People chose not to change , but i think its b/c they think its easier not to.. They say : "A person would want a someone who comes into ones life by accident and stays on on purpose". There comes a time when every life goes off course. In this desperate moment you must choose your direction. Will you fight to stay on the path while others tell you who you are? Or will you label yourself? Will you be honored by your choice? Or will you embrace your new path? Each morning you choose to move forward or to simply give up .Somethings fall apart when planing , sometimes you just have to let things happen on its own , eventually it will come together. People need to understand that you need to let go , begin and live each day as if its your last no matter what , dont over think this b/c in the end you will just lose hope, you will realize,if not now ,you sure will later. Like what Maya Angelo says : "Ain't nothin' to it, but to do it".

Here is some of my poems that express how i see the world , how reality is , i dont know if anyone feels the same way :

I can hardly see it .

I see it in my eye
It’s so hard to deny
I feel it with my heart
It ‘s so hard to let it apart
I feel like there aren’t any words to reveal
It‘s so hard to imagine if it was real

It’s in my mind
Oh, something’s are so hard to find
I see it in my eye , all I can wish of is just to fly
I feel like the wind shifting me on the other side

I have faith , hope , patience and time
All I can think of is finding away to rhyme
I see it in my eye
How the world is changing
Just like people’s feelings that are ranging
Its in my mind
All I can say : All man can think of is taking , breaking and not making
Finally , whats on my mind :
I wish a , wish , right now!

Top-down ......Far Ground...

Every Town has their own up’s and downs
Symbolizing their own Top-Gowns
Every culture having their own way of agriculture
Among all the resistance, they kept their missions
That is traditions, far distance!

I will begin this Journey with my own experience cultures and their interactions. According to some cultures, they differ. Each individual’s mind (nervous system) has its own interactions, in order for the mind to receive information about the outside of body similar to culture. I understand that every man has his / her own point of view. But from where I see it I understand that individuals are affected by cultures everyday and individuals what create cultures. Each person has their “Top-down “life style. Their own style of dressing up. Your culture has its own art and stories. The art of one’s lifestyles is the art of fashion. Fashion is art. However, each art differs according to man’s “Top-down”, bottom up style of clothes, food, and many other things. Why do some want to change it? Why not keep it? It’s after all your culture. The power of it is the ability to create an unconscious of ideas and images. No matter where a person lives while making their own stability with their own culture will stand and never change.

While walking through the lands of Batir, it was my first experience. This Village has its cultures and lifestyles that differ among others. It’s still not modernized but yet, every household in Batir has people living in it unlike in Turmusaya . Batir’s old houses each has its own history and mystery to tell. In it, their landscape is a code to their tradition, styles and culture. It’s what defines who they are. Having the ability to take care of their lands is a way of defining them, how they manage to keep track of their own culture. For example ,This lady by the name Sara Gudger had her own experience of landscape (comparing): “I never know what it was like to rest. I just work all the time from morning till late at night. I had to do everything there was to do on the outside. Work in the field, chop wood, till sometime I feel my back surely break. I done everything except split rails “.The biography of these hills is in many ways my own, the victories and failure of the struggle to save this land “(Raja Shahadeh, 1, walk). While I was walking out in the hills, in this exquisite bright day with a clear blue sky right above my head it was my first experience. This experience taught me many things. One of which is having a purpose, which is to explore more new things every day, differently.

Gazing among the beautiful view in Batir, each stone, and tree in this village has its own meaning and purpose. We stopped at this factory, were they make things that symbolizes their village and the way it describes their cultural style. Moreover, looking at Battir, and the Palestinians that live there, it’s heartbreaking. I saw some ancient houses that are still there after the war. But the sad part is that some people had evacuated, and others didn’t, since they didn’t want anyone or anything to ruin
Their cultural landscape and the way they lived. So they remained and until now kept every part of their traditional life styles.

Thus, many people dealing with the idea: Is it possible for immigrants to remain their own culture, when they are far, beyond ground of their actual home? The answer to this is yes, it is possible. You would ask why? Well, since it’s their cultures, traditions and way of life, it’s impossible to let go of all that. They were born with it like the people in Batir didn’t change it remained the same . Like the immigrants in Turmuaya , no matter how far they are, it doesn’t matter where they are, they can’t change that even if they wanted to. If they want to change, their culture, then I must say that’s wrong and disgrace to their people and let them try to change the stories, myths and history of their own culture since in the end they can’t. Hiding ones one identity and culture will eventually come out, since it will definitely comprise individuals, because it’s you who creates your culture. If you change, your culture might as well change.
Further they go, off they grow
Traditions and cultures
Still moving with the flow
Culture is the sum of all the forms of art, of love and of thoughts in the course of centuries. In some way, life styles and cultures lead to change. But this it is a challenge. Like in Turmasya it’s modernized yet has its own history. Though, the percentage of people isn’t much. Some immigrated but kept their cultural and traditional way of life. Even though they are “far beyond ground” they would never change their culture. In fact, the immigrants that live far ground live in two cultures. When other people see them as being influenced by other culture, people start to feel like they are being an outsider and realize about this unconscious process that happened between themselves and the cultures. When thinking about it “Israeli’s want to trap Palestinians in their traditions, how? By taking advantage of their lands, water, etc. This leads them to immigrate outside, knowing there is no escape from this, and wanting to live free as much as they could. But it makes them develop even more, sending resources to their village. Every man whether in a city or a village, like in Batir and turmusaya they have their own way of life styles with different backgrounds, traditions and cultures.
Cultures are guided
But never yet, divided
All in the same way, I must say

So here, cultures can only realize their further richness by honoring other traditions, as well. For instances, debka and Thawb’s, Debka is a traditional Arab folk dance. It’s a way of showing how traditions, how even though there would be some changes but this wouldn’t change. There are special “Top-downs for those dances. Every Arab country has their own way of Debka’s, it’s a popular dance. Some are similar and some aren’t. Even the immigrants “far Ground” are away, they still, until now remained their Debka life style “Top down”. We cannot, no matter how hard we try, come up with the idea of losing one’s own way of cultures. It’s like an arrow coming out of culture in a direction of an individual’s seems like it is a bigger and stronger for some cases and the opposite arrow lost its way into culture.

Moreover, Thawb’s (garments) its traditional dress for women. Years ago, every village or city, used to wear it to symbolize from where that person is from. And until now, each thobe may differ by color but their “Top-down” remained the same. When walking around in Turmusaya I passed by a traditional “top-down” thobe store. Some thobes are handmade, some are made by machines. But I consider handmade, away of art and fashion, that some are unique and different among other cultures.

Lastly, is our world really divided into two, so that one part makes culture and the other is a prisoner culture? Does culture stand for creativity? For what human being is all about one part of the world? (Mahmood Mamdani). Finally, culture is a shared experience it’s not shared in things and events but of time itself, it is always creative and full of art. It is our tendency to want to belong somewhere, share similar experiences, so why change it?
Creativity undergoes in cultures, years ago
Though, handmade dresses never fade but each dress symbolizes, its own way.

"TOp -DoWn : FaR GrOuNd.."

Your culture has its own art and sotries . Why do some want to change it ? why not keep it ? Its after all a Culture! The power of it is the ability to creat an unconcious of ideas and images . No matter where a person lives and makes some kind of stability , with their own culture, , will stand and never change .

since its their cultures , traditons and way of life , the way they lived their life . No matter how far their ground is . If you want to change culture , you have to change the stories , history and myths .

In some way, life styles and cultures lead to change . But this itself is a challenge . so here, cultures can only realize their further richness by honoring other tradtions as well. From where i see it , culture is always practice as from the symbols of minds . Every man , whether in a city or a village have their own way of lifestyles , background of tradtions and cultures .

" Is our world really divided into two , so that one part makes culture and the other is a prisoner culture? Does culture stand for creativity ? For what human being is all about , one part of the world? ( Mahmood Mamdani) .
Moreover, culture is a shared experinece its not shared in things and events but of time itself. Its always creative and full of art .

So in my town , cultures and traditons including lifestyles pretty much differ. For instances , during weddings everyone wears " thobes" with different colors but same styles . But becaouse its our tradtion and culture that has lead from one genration to the next and yet still is .

Finally , when walking around Batir and Trumusaya . I found that in Batir the old cultural , traditonal and liefsytle still going on . Its not modernized though .But every household in Batir has empty old houses that every house has its own story and mystery to tell . While in Turmuaya , Its Modernized , yet has its own history .Though the precnetage of people arent much. Some immigrated but kept their cultural and tradional way of life .Even though they are "far ground" they would never change their culture . Every village , city and ect.. Has their won way of cultral desires and its impossible to change . But then again it all depends on every different generations that come along .

OUR ABC-Ability, Break and Courage!

ABC-Ability, Break and Courage!

From we’re I see it, Change happens, that is for sure.” The universe is change, life is, observe constantly that all things take place by change. The key to it is to let go of fear, we either have to accept or change it. “It takes time to success but time is, according to Palestinians, how much time, to pursue true happiness.

ABC – what it means to me our Ability will Break
Every boundaries that leads our way what we have is our
Courage , that’s all I have to say!..

I know for a fact, that every person has the ability to lead towards success. And that is to have the courage to make their lands beautiful, useful for agriculture and noticeable. We need to keep in mind one thing and make it become possible, and wouldn’t let anyone break that possible moment, leading to success. All doubts can do is strengthen our ability even more, our eyes will never shed tears not now or in a million years. We got to fight to see past the boundaries.
Every man, whether in a city or village, has different cultures and traditions. The way one’s dress, actions and marriage, but then again it all depends on the family and generations. I see that in certain villages, the people care more about their landscapes, growing crops and taking much more care to their lands than maybe other villages or cities.

Furthermore, there were lands all agricultural, Turmusaya‘s residents mostly rely on. To make a living, farmers depend on olive trees and fruit orchards as a source of income. The main income following into turmusaya comes from immigrants supporting and sustaining their village from abroad.

The story of the village and its history is what I call “silent mystery “. Why silent? Since the first thing when I entered, the village was full of silence. Now there is a mystery to it, why the bizarre silence? It’s because there are barely women walking around? Or is it because the village wants to give a good impression. What I noticed also, that men in this village are very protective. There are certain ages for marriage. It kind of reminds me of this Syrian show “Babb Al-hara “ , the traditions and life styles .

There are area’s in this village were house‘s are only built and the rest of the land for planting. I heard that every land has its own division, but each is known for whom. This wasn’t known from now , it was known back in the day . One thing bought my attention :why would certain people waste , well its not a waste , money and make their house so big and end up leaving them ? Beautiful houses all empty. The percentage in this village for certain people that do is really high. But then again, they probably did it for reasons. For instance, when they come back they would have something to rely on.

Its quiet interesting how this village was named. There is a story to it , this guy by the name turmos refused to pay tax’s to the mayor of the village . So since his name is turmous and he refused to pay they called the village Turmusaya. Aya means in Arab way of talk, refused.

It is a town of red roofs
It has something to proof
It gave the town an upside frown
A beautiful view that is something knew!
The red roofs on each house, so they wouldn’t confuse between the settlements across them.
On my way to Turmusayya, there was this land, filled with empty houses, it was a project but the Jews stopped it . I guess this means that in the Israeli’s mind “Palestinians are like in a box, no escape!..” Which in my opinion and the rest of the Palestinians is unfair, since we don’t need permission to our own lands!..

Moreover, this is the change that is needed. To me Palestinians life is like a rollercoaster. One thing ends and something else begins. But I guess time is what all Palestinians have, the question is: how much? This feeling , thinking about it for a while, then it’s like a bad song in my head and someone pressed play. Nothing we can do, can change the past, but something new, everything we do changes the future.

While walking through this lovely village, there was this old house, and of course it has its history. It was built in 1935. This old lady, in the mid 70’s by the name ZamZam lives in it. She started to tell us about how her kids and grandkids all immigrated to the states and how after years later she opened a small store as a living support. So I walked, and starting writing , I came up with a poem : This village has some quiet history
It has a quite mystery; Its lands are so beautiful
No words to describe, having this wonderful
Feeling inside!
Some areas aren’t allowed to be build on , that’s disturbing , thinking about it , makes ,me wonder , when will all this crisis going to end?!..The tragedy of Palestinian life lie’s in reaching their goals, one of which was expanding their village, and wanting it to become a city one day, without permission of doing so . Other people, from outside come and live in the village , they are very welcomed , they feel belonged and most importantly the support given by the residents of the village.
If the Palestinians of the village or any other leave their land, it would be easier for Jews to take over. But the people are like weapons, guarding their land. Like I said before, their lands aren’t spaced because each land is known for whom, back in the day. Sometimes you have to look reality in the eye and just deny it since sometimes because of it it’s just too hard to restate the obvious.

The obvious I am talking about here, is Palestinians and Israeli conflict and hostility. Sometimes our tries are outside the lines. One day every man will raise their voices and we will one day be heard. So the way their agriculture is , that will one day reveal the unheard voices , that the people of the village made so much effort to their lands , beautiful and wealthy for living support.

Sometimes history takes things in its own hands. Now if it wasn’t for the ancestors before, taking care of and making the village so stunning. Then their generations would careless about it, but because they saw how hard and lots of work they grandfathers did, wouldn’t go all to waste they made if much better than I guess before.

My dreams and the dreams of every Palestinian out there sometimes are unable to distinguish between dreams and visions. If you think that the people of the village won’t make a difference, that’s where you’re wrong. Since they reached half way, and then can continue till the end. I guess it all depends on time and when? Because I know for a fact that every person has the ability to do what’s best for his or her country. Remember that one rain drops, raises the ocean, they will indeed succeed. The land is so pretty to go to waste. Sadly, more buildings are being built, and less land that are being taking care of.

Looking at the agriculture reminded me of when my grandfather used to take care of his lands. Lands were like second homes for people back in the day. He used to plant crops for a living. I guess, no I know during that time that’s how people used to live. Some people didn’t have the well to do so, but others did. The soil on the land is rich; it’s rich with its olive trees, grass and other things as well. This is why the Israeli’s are fighting over Palestine.

The change will come in time, reality is change. Every man will manage time towards leading to success. And that is , the patience and suffering one goes through life. Living life is pain, atest , being patient , and getting what you want in the end. It takes time to success but time is , according to Palestinians , how much time left in order to pursue happiness once and for all in their own lands?..Every passing minute Is another chance to turn it all around.
